We want to: ensure the next STEM generation has LGBTQ+ role models; help the current generation recognize they’re not alone; create opportunities for community connections and greater visibility within STEM.

Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (oSTEM), Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit professional association for LGBTQ+ people in the STEM community. With almost 90 student chapters at colleges/universities and professional chapters in cities across the United States and abroad, oSTEM is the largest chapter-based organization focused on LGBTQ+ people in STEM.
Pride in STEM is a charitable trust run by an independent group of LGBT+ scientists & engineers from around the world. Proud of who we are and what we do. We aim to showcase and support all LGBT+ people in STEM fields.

A guide published by Columbia University’s Engineering Boot Camp programs. This resource highlights inspiring, innovative individuals and organizations that have supported, celebrated, and/or made significant contributions to the LGBTQ+ tech community. The guide helps identify organizations and networking opportunities for those in the LGBTQ+ community and provides credible external resources to help this underrepresented population explore and grow in STEM.
